That video hit my feed as well. I’m excited for part 2 where he says he’ll use a catalyst to make liquid fuel, likely methanol.

I have been a fan of his for a very long time as he is on the line between Hvac guy and mad scientist, I am concerned about his safety as he has been hurt a few times with his exploits… Yeah I remember reading years ago that if the powers that be mess it all up and oil goes astronomical in price, there will be those who start converting corn to alcohol, and alcohol to fuel, those who convert sunlight to fuel… The higher oil goes in price in it’s various forms means there will be more motivation for us to create our own fuel.
