First gen Dakotas are well loved by this community. I am in need of a set of gaskets that sit between the glass and the door. Different sites call them different things, but window sweep felts seems to be the most common. A set for a 90’s F150 is $30 - 40 for a set of four. While the pieces for the Dakota are $75+ for two. Does anyone know of a cheaper source?

The Dodge D50 was based on the Mighty Max. The Dakota is a bit bigger.

Cody, I’m learning all kids of things tonight. The Mitsu Raider was similar to third gen Dakotas, but to my knowledge, the square bodied Dakotas are a beast unto themselves.

It seems like the salvage yards would have some good used side window wippers/felts/. not really sure what they called them either.I never reallized mitsubishi mighty max was its twin,?

The Mighty Max is a twin of the Dodge D50, which is smaller than the Dakota.
Scrap yards are a great idea. I’ve been to one last fall and saw some trim and wheel centers I could use. I just assumed all the rubber would be weathered, but It’s certainly worth a look.
