DOW Driving Habits

Thanks for the ride Wayne.
What are the meters flashing to the left of the steering wheel?

Hello Jan

The meter to the left of the steering wheel is the fuel / air ratio gauge .

Aha, do you regulate the mixture using this?
I was out and went slowly on the forest the day before yesterday (70-80 km), the next morning the throttle was stuck, could it be because I drive with too much gas and too little air?

Good morning, Wayne! Thanks for the ride.
I went through your list of “what to do differently”. Mine has twice as many paragraphs (+ a few more)
I’ll be lighting up in a few hours to take a couple youngsters to the train station :train2:

Yes Jan , I regulate the mixture by this gauge. I can do without the meter but must listen to the motor more . ( I am old and hard of hearing )

The sticky throttle is not from a poor gas mix but a gasifier that is not completely burning and eliminating all the tar .

Good Morning Mr Wayne,
Where will your do-different list be put up?
Onto your Premium side Waynes 95 Dakota 318 topic?
Thanks for all that you do

Good morning Mr. Steve .

As we sometime say here in Alabama ( I was pulling your leg ) ( joke )

At this point I haven’t thought of anything I would do differently . That is the reason for no list under the video .

I’m sure if I built another unit there might be some miner part I may do different but I haven’t thought of it yet .

Hoping the fires stay clear of you and family .

I also have trouble hearing the engine, so it might not be so wrong.
Ok, then I have to stop idling for several hours, I can put in 2nd gear and gas a little sometimes, or preheat the air.

Hello Jan.

There are many things that could cause the throttle to be a little sticky and I think it will happen to ALL of us sooner or later. It could be caused by the gasifier , fuel or operator . The bottom line is there is or was a little tare still in the gas .

Do you have so many nice roads in your forest?
It was sturdy logs you got up on the platform, how did you do?

Yes, this woodlot is really nice. The second one up the mountain is steep and rocky terrain.

Same trick as usual :muscle::grin:
