we used to store our firewood in round towers like that they shed water if done right. it works ok till you start taking the wood off then its hard to keep the wood dry.
I used over size tarp this year for my heating fuel wood, and it is a little less dry, not getting enough air.Luckily i bought extra wood so i have been picking through the wood getting the dryer wood out and restacking the rest, The good news is winter is nearly over, were ready for warmer weather up here towards the north pole.
Oh heck no! It is like the full sized version of Jenga! When do we start? I canât wait to figure out how to yank one of those bottom pieces out! Is this like the swedish thing? Is there drinking involved? are there like barrels of whiskey buried in it like a swedish version of a pinata?
Haha! Sean, simple answer to all the above - I donât know
Must be a Norwegian game. I was going to say Finnish, but it would have a door built in for the sauna plus the guy is a bit overdressed.
Summer 2022
Jan & Göran. Are you snowed in?
Took the truck for a spin to melt the snow off of the hopper.
This morning we had received 12 âsnow here and have received 4â more today, the road to GrĂ€ngesberg has been closed since 5:00 this morning, and will apparently be closed until 18:00 tonight, so I shovel snow and leave the car today.
Thanks for the ride, got a little happier anyway.
Not so bad here, had 6 inches this morning, has has melted down to 3 inches now.
Me and wife stays inside with covid, hope this has melted away til im feeling healthy again.
Thanks for the ride JO . We have had no snow for a few years but have our share of MUD
We had a hard frost yesterday morning, turned into blue bird skyâs and 73°f by the end of the day, and rain all night. 2 days ago had a snow flurry off the mountain that was white out conditions, for about 30 seconds. Then instant melt and marble sized hail. Our weather is bipolar as it gets, I have heard many times in my life when people complain about the weather here the standard answer is âwait 5 minutes, it will changeâ
I enjoyed your ride JO. Hopefully we are done with those kinds of snows for the year. right now even the mud is starting to firm up. I saw someone else had a pile of logs along side the road and I liked the fence with the diagonal slats. People seem to like to build very close to the road. I guess less shoveling of the drive way.
Tom, our village is at least 400+ years. The roads used to be trails for critters between the houses. Some of the old log houses are still in use. They say living in clusters up here was protection for wolfs and bears back in the days. Only 150 miles south of me, were Göran lives, farms are spread far apart on open flat fields.
hi wayne ,just wanting too know if you could give us a ride around the muddy back roads after a big lot of rain. I get a lot of weather like Jan,o. so i wont say the word. DONT-SNOW.
One thing thatâs always confused me with yunz AFR gauge users, does it read as if it would on gasoline? Center mark is still the goal for stoichiometry? I know in some of Wayneâs videos he talks about getting it rich here and there. Do you want it to idle rich so it leans out with throttle?
my truck on wood is lean enough it is off the gauge going down the road, and just tickles the first lean red light at idle. rich condition it useless for power on my truck, but the center ground it runs fine, mine just seems to make better power on the lean side for some reason, only takes one bar into the green rich side to start losing power
Hey Cody.
If AFR gauge light is up dancing back and forth all is well. If the light goes to hard left ( lean ) or hard right ( rich ) it doesnât do well. For cruising it seem a little lean does good but for hard throttle it seems going a little rich will give more power .
Thats enough rain, well april showers brings may flowers. What can you plant in your shallow drive way ponds. No MUD Boggs, jokeing, that looked knee deep it spots.THANKS PS.Time too go line up tubeing for my dakota, the frame was bad rust from the cab to the back bumper. The rest of the front frame, looks next too no rust much at all. So i will tube the rear frame section on this ONE. And then get some good frame undercoating too it.
wow, thatâs not fun either wayne, is it common for you to get so much water?
