Downdraft charcoal gasifier building pictures

So Hanomag, well done, this will be an interesting project. If I remember correctly you have an R 455, it has a 5.7 l engine, well, max rpm is 1300 rpm, and the CR is 1:18. I tried to find pictures of the head of this engine, hmm interesting, the pre-chamber is attached from the top with a special M48x1.5 nut, so dismantling is very easy. For example, if you remove the pre-chamber and make a threaded adapter that will close the opening, you get a much lower CR, I guess close to 1:13. You can install the spark plug in place of the glow plug, or in the adapter above, or you can also use two spark plugs,… an ignition distributor for four cylinders will also not be difficult to find,…
A gasifier that would power this 5.7 l engine, ??? If we go in order, this engine reaches 55 km on diesel fuel, and on charcoal gas it will be slightly less, but I assume it would reach 30 kW. The 45 cm diameter of the hot zone is sufficient for this power without a problem, but it is good to keep the glowing ball in the center, which you can achieve with a ring of WK-style nozzles. These nozzles would supply the bulk of the air, the lower one in the center, but it would have a “cleaning effect”. I think that only the lower large diameter nozzle would spread the heat all the way to the wall and the gasifier would run too hot …
