Hello Eddy, after a long time you are with us again, we missed your company and your drawings, … I tested this idea on my gasifier on the tractor and first installed the middle nozzle first just above the restriction opening, and then, due to the increased resistance in the lower part, dropped below the limit in the “forbidden area”, initially a few inches lower, but now even lower and with a larger diameter of 6mm. I wanted to achieve gasification of fine charcoal mixed with ash and thus cleaning this part of the gasifier. The sketch shows the changes, namely the inclined vertical grid, so that the openings between the elements are narrower at the top and wider at the bottom. It is also possible to weld additional sheet metal to increase the surface area, which would further improve heat exchange.
