In order to finish the steel roof project on my shop I have to make about 100 feet of rip cuts in the steel panels and was not looking forward to pinching the handles of hand shears that much. So I picked up these electric shears from Harbor Freight on sale for about $46 minus my 25% coupon and thought I would give them a try and I have to say so far I am impressed.

Keep us posted Don… while I do like our plasma cutter I’m no where as steady with my hands as I used to be. Those seem like it would be using a pair of electric scissors. Scissors I can still use pretty good…
