If power is a big concern the other option would be to find an old straight 6 and figure out how to bolt it up to the M. The old GM 6 I forgot the numbers for it off the top of my head would have about the same RPM ratings as the farmall motor and would provide the lost torque through bigger volume. I have an old H and have considered swapping out the motor which needs a complete overhaul for something with more Torque for this very reason but in my case I decided the GM 6 would probably be too much torque for the H. Honestly my H is just parts my grandfather rebuild the motor once and everything else is worn out as well. Right now I lack the funds to restore it so it waits and I dream of all the different things I could do.
