Free valve system good for wood gas?

This sounds like you could connect the wood gas/air mixture directly to the intake manifold without a throttle body.

Yes! Thanks for sharing. I’d heard of Freevalve, but this explanation really lays out more advantages than I thought of. He even mentions the 14:1 CR which would be great for running on chargas.

14:1 compression may be good for wood gas though regular 87 octain only works up too about 10: half too one i think, any higher and you need high test fuel.? around them numbers.
