Hi Hank, I like it a lot. If I’m not mistaken those are pretty sturdy ships, close to chunks. That’s good. What wood size is that chipper able to handle? Does it handle dry wood too? I ask because the drying process usually gets trickier with smaller fuel.
JO,
the one with wood chunks and gasifier but not enough places to go
Hoy Jan-Ola,
nice to meet you,
Here’s a picture so you can get an idea about the size…
my hands are abnormally huge
It can handle about 12 cm wet and 10 cm dry wood…
I wanted to post a video but couldn’t…
You can always get a refill at my place (if you like my chunks ?!?) when you pass by Belgium!
Henk
I do like your chunks. They are about the avarage size I’m running.
Yes, please post a video. It has to be uploaded to Youtube. Then just copypaste a link into here. It’s the only way.
Haha, thank you. Good to know If I’m ever going south.
Thats preety damn amazing! Thoce are more in the chunk category rather thain chips. Where did you buy this and whats the price?
I am thinking of purchaseing/making one of those for a while now. You dont happen to have a picture of the inside?
Haha, very impressive indeed!
You will have to increase the number of staff to keep up with that thing

My German doesn’t work. Can someone translate the cost and contact info for that marvelous “chipper”
Hi Micheal,
try directly the Czech manufacturer:
http://www.bystron.cz/en/
Go to wood chippers for cutting length 8 cm and wood block chippers for cutting length 15 cm. They have prices in Euro, but I don’t know if shipping to the US is possible.
Hi I to look in at price’n an Cont
Any luck Guys
Thanx
About 5 years ago there was a talented young man at Argos with a woodgas pickup truck that was first fired there. In the back of the truck in a sack he pulled out the screw of the screw chipper that he was going to make. His craftsmanship was to be admired!
Kick this one up, thanks to Michael G and Tone. Followed by Mr Steve ‘s energy comparison.
Are you still with us Henk?
Now if I had a PTO in a tractor I would be looking at building something like this, very cool!
This manufacturer also have standalone variants with gasoline motor and electric as well. The core screw is almost the same for all types.
When I bought the chopper, I compared this chopper to the one I bought, this one has a double helix, they have a single one, this one has a rotor mounted on one side, they have a support sliding bearing on the other side, otherwise they are very similar.
