Look like some heavy nozzles or restrictions to me.

Wife left early to a dog show. The house is nice and quiet. While waiting for Kristijan to upload his next episode of the Skoda pickup gasifier, I ran outside to prepare my lunch box.
One plant of 15 potatoes should be enough. That’s $1. Another $5 saved as soon as I’ve lit up going to work. Oh, and I slept in this morning. That saved me breakfast expense - another $1 saved. What a joyful hobby
Oh yummy for the tummy
Bob
Potatoes goes first, when mildew is on the rise. Thats why we officially call it “potato blight”. Tomatoes, cucumbers and other such vegetables usually follow. Even grapevine is prone to it. For all its the same species of funghi Peranospora.
You speak the truth Kamil.
Once I stopped trying to potatoes grow . . . I stopped having any problems with the tomatoes and cucumbers.
And I did try many varieties of potatoes. The only thing changed was how soon the blight would take them.
On my ground I had much success expanding into cabbages, beets and parsnips (whitloaf). Ha! Then trying to develop a taste for these.
S.U.
I like all of those but try turning the cabbage into sauerkraut that is really yummy. With a little bit of blue dwarf curly kale mixed in red cabbage will keep most if it’s color as you make sauerkraut.
Kohlrabi would probably do well in that same conditions too if you get the jumbo ones I forget the name of them they don’t go woody like the small ones do. Just gives more time to harvest them. I really like them a lot which is funny for something I planted just because I knew it looked funny and would drive my uncle nuts. He hates it when I plant weird things like white beets. Which means I have to fine more of them. Lol
I’m with him. I want my tomatoes red, my carrots orange but I like the multi-colored corn.
You need a since of adventure. Purple carrots white beets. Yellow tomatoes. Actually I like the purple tomorrow but seldom do they grow well for me so often I raise the brandywine tomatoes. Purple cauliflower.
If I wanted boring orange carrots I could pick them up anywhere in town.
I’ve been growing blue and or purple potatoes. They are the best tasting. They like to re-grow next season. Seems like the more wild potatoes work better then the highly modernized versions, just less production.
Ya I like the fingerling potatoes for much the same reason. They seem to do better for me.
Ha, the voriety of purple potato here looks apealing but tastes like crap l like Evora and Marabel. Best tasting taters l ever grew
I grow five varieties of potato but my best performer is always Yukon Gold. Best storage life of all I’ve tried. Any of the reds I grow are more prone to scab and will make seed potatoes from year to year but they are pretty spongy by spring.
My worst expectations of the hot water heater tank were proven true. I noticed a lot of moisture at the bottom of the tank’s insulation and there’s quite a few holes in the bottom. I’ll see what I can salvage out of this tank, the upper half is okay, not sure about the condition of the inside until I cut the bottom off.
Cut it right through the weld save the bottom cut off the rusted out portion and patch it right back on piece of cake
Count your blessings. It’s a perfect chance for you to practice auto body work. Get a piece of 20 ga and tack and hammer it over your rusted bottom. 10,000 hammer taps and it should be kind of smooth.
I like the kind of smooth. Everytime I try that I am glad it is farm equipment because without a sand bag and a lot more practice smooth definitely isn’t the surface quality I achieve. More like heavy dimpled.
We have a neighbor up here that bought 173 acres last summer to come up here on weekends. His name is John Lee. He is in a wheelchair and bought the property with a friend.
John Lee’s daughter is Sunisa Lee and she just won the Gold medal in the Olympics this week.
Great Job. Impressive story.
Got to hang out with Steve Bowman today at his house. Seeing the Charcoal Corolla was pretty neat and it started up and drove just fine. Also got to see his collection of musical instruments, very cool. He gave me a bag of some of his home-milled Cornmeal and I can’t wait to make some cornbread out of that.
Always a great time with Steve! Once I get my gasifer mounted to my '78 power wagon I’ll take a round trip and visit both of you. I’m in Greensboro.
Here’s how the usual visit at Steve’s goes for fellow woodgassers
