Kristijan at the 49° we can see the northern lights at times but not that spectacular, more faded out.

I think it should be enough for this winter now, should only have 50-60 logs to saw panel for a customer of, maybe a little more home firewood, thought to do a little nice along the road by the lake, see how it turns out.

Wow Jan, you have really been working the chainsaw.

Yeah I’m a little confused on this. Heineken is an international brand, we get it here in the States too.

Guzzo-line is at $3.40 in my county. Filled up the Sierra’s tank, all 34 gallons from quarter full. Now that I don’t take lunches at work anymore the truck is only on to get me to work and back so it lasts me over two weeks if I don’t go anywhere else. I don’t think I can work any faster on a gasifier for this thing than I already am.

I have not seen that price here in Wenatchee Washington State for over a year and half. I now call it Gough-U-oline. It is holding at $3.85 right now but it should jump up $00.35 by late spring. This last year the fuel prices did not go down at the end of summer like it usually does. These Times Are Changing DOW is the way to go.
For the people that have been reading and studying this year it is the time to start your build.
I can think of a hundred reasons to not start building. But the prices of fuel going up all over the world is the reason to start building and get into gasification.

Many hours shoveling snow this year mostly by hand. Who needs a work out gym membership just shovel snow by hand. Lol
If I could of work on the Jeep gasifier it would be mostly done. Oh well I broke the parts out of the the packed snow and ice today. I can finally start working on it after the day of Rest that God has given me. I love the Sabbath Day of Rest. Dana and I are going to pack a lunch and walk down to the Columbia River and go Walleye fishing. This is a great way to just thank God for His Day of Rest for us all.
I have had to worked hard many Sabbath days working at my job for 35 years. Now I can take them off and rest. What a Blessing this is for me. I can get more done in 6 days working and be rested then I can working 7 days and being wore out and tired. Here is the wisdom of it all. God says at the end of his days start at Sun set. So the Sabbath starts when the sun sets Friday and it ends on the next day Saturday at Sun set. Now the day is done. Time to go to bed. The first day of the week starts at sun set what we call Saturday evening/Sunday the next sun rise. You end up with 2 nights of resting sleep. I like it. Some people like to go to church on Sunday, another day of rest if you want. More Blessings.

Not much snow up here. We are so close to the moderating effects of the mighty Pacific. Had about 4 inches over two weeks. Been nice this last couple weeks, almost spring like.
Just bought gas for the chainsaw and mill. $1.80 a litre or about $ 7.20 a US gallon. Ouch. Bet it will be over $2.00 by summer. Want to get started on a small charcoal unit but the house is taking all my time.

I am retired now but work milling and building all through the week. All my helpers are only available weekends so I am ending up working 7 days a week.

Are you in Canada, Darrel? Nice framing job but you could never build with your own lumber in my area. Everything has to be grade stamped and if you do post and beam the lumber has to be reviewed and certified by a structural engineer.

Had to stop by a dealership to pick up a part we didn’t have. Saw this C1 Corvette with the Blue Flame 6 cylinder and the Powerglide 2 speed auto.

Tri-power with a fiberglass body?

They wouldn’t let me touch it so I’m not sure about the body.

What does the 150 mean? Horsepower rating?

Here are the specs, Cody.

Cody; What an absolutely GRATE find. I guess you couldn’t convince that to follow you home. I can’t imagine the value of that but I know I couldn’t afford it. :disappointed_relieved: Didn’t the '54’s come out with the first V8? TomC

I wish! I think it’s just on display from the owner. Our dealership doesn’t do that sadly.

The Dale Earnhardt Chevrolet in Newton features stock cars like the Impala SS stock car. I want to say that was a 2007 model Impala. It was the #1 car Bass Pro Shops
