Yes, in Ukraine at the moment there are big problems with fuel. The Russians destroyed large oil refineries with rocket strikes. Earlier, people did not take my wood-burning car seriously, but now they even show me and my car on TV. Many have a desire to install a gas generator , and many envy me that I have been riding on firewood for more than 4 years.
Now I work at two jobs to feed my family: I repair the Internet and work as a driver at a substation, drive people by bus, and also keep an apiary.
Vitaliy, I admire your ambition. It is unfortunate that it took a crisis for you to get recognition for your accomplishments. Hopefully your efforts will contribute to a solution or at least improve people’s coping skills.
Hello everyone, I want to show you a video about my new car, for a gas generator, I bought it even earlier, from my grandfather. The car is in good condition and without corrosion. When the time comes, I will arrange to rearrange the gas generator from the old car. Огляд "нового" Иж 412 для установки газогенератора. - YouTube
Good morning Vitaliy
Thanks for the video of your new car .
Hope to see it with wood gas soon
Thanks
Hello, colleagues, hello to all. Unfortunately, the green car does not run on gas yet, the old one works. There is not enough time. I work as a bus driver. I keep an apiary. We have a war, hard times. Due to constant shelling of energy facilities, there are constant power outages. I myself make electricity from firewood.
Nice big muffler on that motor; good for stealthy operation.
So it works well, but I wanted to make another one, this big non-compact one.
Do you run it from the gas generator in the 412, or from its own gas generator?
Yes, so far it works from the gas generator of the car, I give high revolutions so that there is no resin, but I plan to make a small gas generator.
You could always add some mixture of charcoal to the wood and it would reduce risk of resin for the time being. Kristijan and Bobmac here call it “rocket fuel” because you gain a lot of vigor from the gas generator. Maybe utilizing coals taken from a wood stove that would otherwise be thrown away. Just an idea as a stop gap method.
How has your fiberglass filter held up? I bet it makes the gas very clean.
