Hi, I just got a note from Greg Manning that Ron passed away due to a heart attack. I don’t know more.

I just got a note from Michael - Ron’s middle brother. “Ron died Tues. from an apparent heart attack in his apartment. He was to start Cardiac Rehab on Wed.; this has been a huge loss to his family and the rest of the Hongsermeier’s and friends. He is with his Savior.”

My sincerest condolences to his family and friends.

Having been on a wood gas group since Mike LaRossa’s early one for some 20 years now I’ve come to know a number of folks who are more than just acquaintances. Mike LaRossa blessed me with a phone call on Christmas morning a number of times. That will never happen again. It is inevitable that the course of life takes our friends
away.
Never easy to have to say good-by.
