Probably not this year, we will have the M-2 with us that is getting raffled off. We will aid the winner with lighting it off for it first time. Hopefully next year we will have some stuff to bring. The 25 kW Systems weigh just over a ton, so probable not going to bring one of those. But our smaller versions would be fun to show off.
Be fun to look it over ā¦ Iām pumped ā¦ I canāt wait to be able to say see you in a few days ā¦ still more than a week off ā¦ We just had 3 weeks of rain / snow/ more rain so I hope we donāt get into another one of them ā¦ Iām too late for several of my survey jobs now ā¦ Leaves are on the brush and coming on the trees ā¦ Tough work but I can walk uphill now ā¦ M

Like wise Mike, looking forward to meeting everybody!!!
OK moving ahead, well the first two shipped out and we are now working on the Lister 20 kW version and the next generation system. As soon as I get parts and the Lister starts to come together Ill post some pics of this.
Whats next on the plate is the next version. I am scrapping the vortec V6 and just ordered a brand spankin new LS-1 complete with all accessories. This will come in the 5.3 flavor set up for carburetion. Ignition controller is also part of the package, just some assembly required.
We will have some new control features, one of the fellows here on the forum is helping out with this. One is an air mixer valve, and the other is a more advanced management system.
In addition I am planning a hopper gas purge system using our existing blower. This will purge out the gases in the hopper at high volume and then to be cooled in an external condenser. After the gas leaves the condenser, it will go into an exhaust heat exchanger to be reheated and then direct injected back into the raw fuels hopper.
Here is the motor, I ordered this guy today and it should be here in a week or so. Cant wait to get my hands on this thing!!!

Nice Matt.
Did you order the carburetor option because it is only used on wood gas? If so, will you leave the carb on here? It seems my engines were easier to start and operate without a carb.
Wow Matt, how times have changed. My dating car was a 62 Chevy Super Sport with a 327 cu. in. engine and I paid less than half of that for the whole car, but then gas was only 21 cents a gallon too. I guess Iām getting old!
changed. My car was a '65 Mustang and $10 would give you a full tank of gas, buy you and your date something to eat , go to the drive-in, and cruise around town all weekend. Yeah I guess times have changed. Yes I know I am getting old.LOL
Haha Don, yeah I would love to have that 62 SS. Maybe some day. By the way I have some more stuff for you if you are interested.
@ Bill, yes, I will never ever ever build a system without dual fuel again. lol. Yeah the carb intake just makes the whole thing simple. I am planning on building a manifold that the carb will sit on top of. The woodgas will get injected below it. The carb will get a manual push pull cable and the woodgas side will get the governor from the generator.
Planning a simple 5 gal. fuel tank that will gravity feed to the carb. Many many reasons to keep the petrol set up. Trouble shooting is much easier on gasoline and cleaning maintenance I feel is a must. Run some fuel with additives for cleaning once in while to keep the engine clean. Starting with petrol will save some ware and tear on that starter too.
Great stuff you are doing and info you are putting up MattR.
When you do your videos could you put engine running sounds towards the beginning please.
Love to hear those woodgas fueled engines run. Makes me feel young.
Best Regards
Steve Unruh
Not a problem Steve, yeah I think Im going to get stretch marks on my face when this does fire up. I will have a smile from ear to ear.
Things here are ever changing and I think finally my workload is going to lessen soon. I hope to later on open source some stuff when I can get some more time. Good times to come!!!
Hey Matt, Iām always interested in STUFF. What you got? (616) 566-3130
Hey Don,
My boy hijacked my phone Ill have to give you a shout tomorrow. I have a gen III M-II here in parts with an experimental ash pot grate system that did not work out. You will need to rebuild the grate and rework the ash pot a bit. I can help with getting you some new parts to make this easier. It does have the original cyclone as well. Other than that I dont have any other filters. I was planning on rebuilding it and using for experimental stuff. But the machines have evolved to a level that I would rather use a current system for experimentation.
Thatās a beautiful engine! I wish I had my 67 Corvette back too. I cost less than that engine BRAND NEW!

that is gonna be a fun bit of machinery to play with Mattā¦ enjoy watching what youāre doin with woodā¦ Keep up the good work.
Yeah Carl, one of my projects someday will be to get ahold of a 60 area machine and put a modern LS engine in it. Yeah some of those 60ās cars restored now are worth a small pension today. haha
@ Arvid, looks like you are getting a good stream of tractors coming in. Your gonna have to start your own forum āfarm on woodā hehe
Actually a sub-forum here call āFarm on Woodā WOULD be an excellent idea MattR.
Hope AdminChris is listening. Hint. Hint.

Goin to see a Farm all A on the weekendā¦ Iāll have enough cash in my pocket to buy it if itās in reasonable conditionā¦ just sayin
