Just another boring woodgas video . No smoke or fire seen nor any pops ,bangs or explosions heard . No speeding or racing just an old truck steady working without gasoline.
Hauling home hay that has been left at the hay field for 2-3 years and I am trying to get what is left of it fed out.
Some may call it boring, but them guys at my meetup today would be even more flabergasted at your truck out doing heavy work then my truck just running on wood! Had about 200lbs of wood and maybe 200lbs of beaver meat in mine today
Wayne, you’re right - I usually can’t think of much to say. I’m used to mostly listen at home
For the past few weeks I haven’t found the energy to type much either. Been going wide open with firewood prepping, some chunking and also 15-20 sawlogs piled up waiting to be milled. Fortunately the rest of the community seems to have covered real well for my lack of typing
Btw, nothing boring about your videos. Always nice to hear that V10 purring. Also, I enjoy watching your greening up neighborhood passing by.
We’ve had an extreemly sunny March, but there are still piles of snow left and the ground is solid frozen. A neighbour was out ice fishing the other day and he reported the ice was close to 3 feet deep. It’ll be a while before I can have my skinny dip with the hayfilter
Thanks for the ride on full wood power V10, Looks like soon as the rain slows down, you may have too dump a little dirt here and there, and bulldose your drive way too smooth it back out a bit. You certainly have a nice long drive way. P.S what are you getting or selling soft wood sawmill scraps for,PRICE RANGE.? size of bundle.?
Thanks for the hill climb vidio , just woundering what you got for a muffler on the that V 10 , i heard it rev up climeing the hill driveway. SOUNDS GOOD.
OK thanks wayne , i got one or two i could use on my dakota, sounds like they breath well enough. If i lived in alibama, i know ware too look for fire wood deals.THANKS
Thanks WayneK.
I liked especially the evolution to the less-visible systems that can be seen, earlier to later.
The old red Ford really shows this well.
But it even shows up in your Dakota’s too.

I have too buy my slab wood here in the great lake state, though i get a 16 foot car hauler trailer full with 4 foot side racks packed too the top. For 50.00 bucks, mostly cotton wood, gopher wood. it all puts out good heat once dries out about 8 mounths or so. i burn up about four trailer loads a year or so depending on the winter. THATS about 250 bucks a year for heating fuel ,I caint complain on that wood supply either.
Thanks for the pictures of all your wood gas driving adventures, You MUST have OVER 200.000 miles of miles between all your wood gasifier trucks,ALL ON WOOD.
Just a very rough WAG I have driven about 500,000 wood gas miles . But keep in mind this has been over 18 years , over a dozen vehicles and with wood up to my ears .
I don’t drive near as much as I once did but I still go anywhere I go on WG.
The miles can add up . A typical get together at Argos I would give 300 miles of rides
At a average of $2.70 throughout the 18 years for fuel at the pump. And 500,000 miles DOW. I figured over $35,000.00 in fuel saves DOW this is a conservative WAG. I know you did not spend that much monies in materials and vehicles. I did not figure your wages though.
Bob
HI WAYNE-K , Not so much dollar for dollar, for me its just nice too know you have the machine or gasifier design and operating experiance, too be able too use wood efficiently any time needed. I would have never got that finish gasifier design with all the extra details. & operator experiance, had I not seen your website, I would probbly gave up this idea. and i am gratefull for DOW ,and all the support people that are here. THANKS Kevin-R.
