Happy thanksgiving to my American friends :turkey:

(Maybe late?)

Had to post this little girl also, she had been living with us for a week today.

Cindy, 11 weeks old.

You are a lucky man Goran. I have one of those only she is 11 years old, not weeks. 12 next month. Bossiest female I’ve ever been around. :smiling_face_with_three_hearts: :smiling_face_with_three_hearts: :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

I have never watched this show. I don’t think they build anything so why bother, but I saw it was filmed in Slovenia and I thought I’d mention it for our Slovenian brothers. Maybe it can be streamed on-line. Some of the comments I’ve read rave about the scenery.

göran , so a nice puppy, it is the best remedy, when our beloved dog must leave us, to look for another…it is never the same personality as our old one, but another…
our little terrier chili died in summer by a viper bite…only 4 years old…this danger we have always here…espescially active dogs earlier or later have a confrontation with a viper…
i will guess also our american friends in some areas have this problem …rattle snakes ecc.?
good to know that in our god´s creation no life is in vain…when a soul ( -also animals have a soul obviously- ) has got a certain maturity, they are changing in a more higher developped form…in this case the body is not more needed for the being…
gratulation to your new family member!

What a beauty Göran.
We lost our dog a few months ago, and it still brings tears to my eyes when I think about him.

Thanks Tom, Giorgio and Jan, im pretty sure our old dog Daisy sent this little puppy in our way, she don’t wanted us to feel empty without a dog, or have the “freedom” of no one to feed, walk or let out in the middle of the night.

Today was a long day, we drove to a big indoor swap meet, to look for old stuff.

Västerås, Sweden.

Well, i found no old woodgas related stuff, (or any chainsaws) but always fun to look around.

But i found some more old blow-torches (like i needed more of them, but they where cheap )

And i found a pretty “vintage” tester for three-phase outlets, this is useful to get all three-phase outlets “matching” so stuff don’t rotate backwards when plugging it in another outlet.
(I had one of these too already, but can’t find it)

On the way home we saw some very colorful northern lights.

Been busy with hunting and work as of late and lots and lots of wood stove burning. Today spent with my old man cruising some back roads deep in the wilds looking for deer and elk. No animals, but the scenery, jaw dropping from every ridgeline

göran , the swap meet, would have been very interesting, also for me…one can always find something…especially if it is cheap…
look on the link…cheap…nice…a bit far away for you…but the temptation is high…with the trailer of your brother…

Marcus, that’s amazing scenery.
On another note - do you still keep your WG-trucks for when there’s a shift in priorities?

Oh yes i have been tweaking with the air mixer on the dodge when i get time here and there and have a large pile of wood that needs chunked and the chunker has made it home, before i get back to woodgas the next thing is figuring out a drying/storage system for wood

Hi Giorgio, yes those swap meets are very fun, this one is special for old cars and motorcycles, but you really could find everything there.

That Fiat is really tempting, super cheap, if it was found in Sweden it probably would cost atleast 1500€ and in much bad shape.
Well, i need to control myself, and not bring home too big equipment, otherwise i have drivers license for big truck, and know where i can borrow one…
