Id say let’s go ahead and do it we are already planning on it. we might discuss other options for next year, but for now I’d say let’s just stick with it. I think we can still cover it.

The price of everything is up. Thats about how much one person would spend on a vacation somewhere else and not be near as much fun.

Well the good news is that when I made the railroad spike stars a few years ago I made several and I still have some extras so maybe we can advertise that as a raffle lol

Since this will be my first time to Argos, I’m not sure how the food thing goes. I can bring the stuff to make pancakes and waffles along with a griddle, waffle maker, and of course, maple syrup.. I have always liked cooking breakfast.

Dan Moore also brings a flat-top propane grille, and it is used mostly for breakfast. He has said he is coming. Maybe you two can get together on the grille co-ordination. @danny1003481 You can bring pancake making materials for sure! Thanks! Breakfast is /was an “optional” meal for us to supply, but getting more popular because fast-food isn’t so fast anymore. We always have coffee, and snacks.

Mike R,
Is it to early to put up the list of people who are coming and what they will bring food wise and projects also can they bring something to raffle off.
Thanks for all the behind the scenes things you do. Dan

Dan,
Not too early. I can work on that soon. I just have to modify that Google Forms thing we do for this year. Time is flying, as they say! :astonished:

We’re coming this year. The Lemlers reached out and I’ve convinced Mary to give it a shot. We’ll be in Friday through Sunday.

I’ll also bring my chunker. I do need to pull it out of storage and fire it up, hasn’t been used in awhile.

If donations are short for the fairgrounds, DOW will cover the difference. We can be an official sponsor!

Is the date fixed then? June 8-11?

Andy,
Yes it is. I contacted the fairgrounds manager Kevin, and he will soon be sending a contract, as per usual.

2 posts were split to a new topic: Argos 2023 T-shirts!

I plan on coming. How do we contribute to help defray the cost of the rental?

Bill,
Bring some food with you to share, and a cash donation also helps!
If everyone contributes a little, It adds up to plenty!
Thank you in advance, and looking forward to seeing you there! I need to do a sign-up sheet soon, just for planning purposes.
