Life goes on - Winter 2020

Kristijan, I didn’t who that the GVM Vampire Government Migration moved into your country too. Grow more garlic in your country spread it around. This could cause the price of silver to go up if this migration doesn’t stop. Did you say homemade Jegermaister?

Yes, please tell us more about this homemade Jegarmaisters . That could be interesting.

Haha dont think garlic is strong enaugh for those kind of vampires. But lest leave politics aside.

Yes, a lot of people make their own Jagermaister here. Its not that hard its just that there are something like 50 different plant species, herbs and fruits inside. Foraging starts in January and ends in Novemner. Its a long process but worth it. The end resault actualy tastes like herbs, not like the bought stuff that tastes like sugar and artificial flavoring.

I let the moles get way ahead of me. Today I washed down 107 hills in an area of 20’ by 100’

Now the traps come out when the buggers show again
I must have a lot of tasty worms as my neighbors and my front yard have almost no mole hills.

I would get the old truck fired up and give them the wood gas treatment. Even exhaust on the ruck would be good.

They are eating grubs. Get rid of the grass and they will go away.

He can put some pigs out there to eat the grubs and get rid of the grass…

I like my idea better. One other thing to do is to go for a drive for a couple of hours to make sure the truck gasifer is good and warmed up first, this will not help you get rid of the moles, but it sure put a SWEM on your face doing it.
And don’t forget to dump some of the concentrate juice down every hole from that 2 hour drive.

My neighbor has no moles and often sits next to a fresh molehill with a shotgun for hours.
We stay inside and wait for the BOOM

Today I bathed for the first time this year, was quite cold, but not at all as I thought, I think it’s because I was quite hot after chopping timber.
The chainsaw did not like to swim.

It was -27F this morning. I fired up the stove in the garage so I could do a little woodworking. The stove is struggling to keep the garage warm.
I have my tools on wheels so I roll them closer to the stove to work.

Minus 27? We really do need an Un-like button on this forum! :grinning: It got down to regular 27F here last night, and that is about as cold as I really think it needs to get. You get a little frost, the gravel gets a nice crunch to it, and the hose you forgot to drain freezes, but probably didnt ruin the hose bib (I hope)…

Well, it did warm up to 16 today which is a 43 degree swing. Really I’m grateful because usually we’ve had over 30 days in sub zero weather by now. This season has only been about a week.
This year I finally have a garage to work in during the winter.
The hardest part of sub zero weather is the outhouse in the morning.

Hey Bill .

How about giving us southern folks some kind of warning before you flash that kind of temperature on the web. We might want to just skip the post and go back outside in our 60F weather

I think I would heat up a towel before heading out the door. 7 inches of snow here today now a little freezing mist to make it nice and slick.
