Hey JO
When I am driving the old truck I notice little noise but on a video I can hear all the rattles and motor noise.
Hey JO
When I am driving the old truck I notice little noise but on a video I can hear all the rattles and motor noise.
Your just accustomed to the dodge life, my truck rattles to beat the ban. Door panels, mirrors, b piller covers, seat rails they all make a racket on a bumpy road and at one time I had all the noises fixed. Last maybe 3 months
I worked the old work truck a full 10 hours yesterday hauling hay and equipment .
I see a lot of cow smiles sitting on that trailer deck!
BBB
Hey Marcus .
It will make many more piles than smiles
Been going wide open the last few weeks and hope to finish hay today or tomorrow . Hope to beat the rain forecast for tomorrow.
I worked the ole V-10 hard all day. Hauled in about 30 tons of hay . Smiling with ever mile
I can’t wait to do up my V10, I have a FWEM driving it at these fuel prices
Frown with every mile
I worked the ole work truck just about all day today ( pretty much a typical day ) with farm related work . Only drove about 50 miles but about 20 start ups and shut downs . Just one lighting of the gasifier this morning and all the other start ups were with a little gasoline assist or straight wood gas .
SWEM
With my trapline stops I’m started to get good at those short shutdowns like that. Less then 15 minutes and I can get it going on wood pretty consistent no gas now. It’s a trick to learn that part
Below is a very short video of a rolling start after a 45 min shut down . I am using no blowers but a small amount of gasoline .
Nicely done Wayne! Do you still have a rheostat in there or just an on/off switch? Looked like you made an adjustment on the steering column but I couldn’t quite tell
That’s a perfect rolling start Wayne.
I’ve been thinking maybe your V10 has the world record in number of hours on woodgas. After all the WW2 woodgas era only lasted a few years.
Could be you’re beaten by some silent eastern woodgassers, but top 10 for sure.
Good morning Marcus.
I have just an off/on switch but I can use ether very well.
I have air mix control valves on each side of the steering column and may have been adjusting them .
Good morning JO
Yes the old truck is still going strong .
I begin to worry that the old truck may out last me
After about a 30 min shutdown at the grocery store and rolling start of the gasifier .
Working the ole truck just about every day .
The ol V10 has the second gen dash disease there Wayne! Gauge cluster is about to fall in your lap looks like
Hey Marcus .
The Dakotas don’t have that dash disease but the Rams have a full blown case of it .
