You have some narrow roads, steep hills in Alabama
Thanks for the ride in the Alabama hills and back roads.
The roads look very smooth compared to our rocky volcanic basalt roads. Alabama clay? Slip and slide in the rain if not on payment? The angles of the trees tales the steepness of the terrain. Nice country you live in Wayne, I like it.

Let Lisa know she did a great job on the camera video end of production of a Wood Gas Rolling Start. Very informative for the DOW group who want to know how things are done when driving on wood Thank you Lisa and Wayne. Have a happy holiday season.

I was out playing in the mud and almost got stuck.
The gasifier quit drawing air when I got stuck but I found the reason . The pipe for the hay filter drain got knocked loose . Now back in place and ready to go .
I never cared for that chassis hop in a long wheel base truck when all four are fighting for traction. One of those times you wonder what the cows are thinking as they watch you trying to get out pretty cool to hear the old V10 wake up in the rpm like that. Glad the fix was quick and simple!
It was nice cows you have Wayne, but it’s winter now, it should be white on the ground snow, it’s called.
It is in such situations that I do not like automatic gearboxes at all, much harder to get rid of the mud or ice, at least for me who is not used to these.
I agree with you, Jan. I really like clutch pedals
Wayne, I can imagine all the washing and vaxing you had to do after getting stuck in the mud
That’s easy beaver control! Thought down there you could shoot them to? I know a friend of mine in Alabama has no restrictions at all on how to catch beavers. Interesting with the V10 with no muffler at idle it kinda sounds like a diesel ram. Thanks for the ride Wayne
Marcus if you ever want to have a heyday of beaver trapping just drive or fly on over here to my property. My creek flows into a city reservoir but theres about 2 to 3 dams going down it. I’ll hand you a .22lr and let you have at it.
I’ll have to do some trapping videos, we got a pretty good run of them up here as well, I’m busy year round doing damage control trapping
Wayne,
I like your “Two Mail Boxes” story. That’s funny.
I worked the wood burner hard all day long. Made 10 trips hauling hay from the field to the barn at just over 10 miles per round trip.

I like watching your gage Wayne to see if you are running rich or lean on it when you drive. It seem that most of the time it is reading lean when I get to see it in the video. Thanks for the video ride with you Wayne hauling hay. I would rather be doing that then … wait put your coat on… shoveling and chipping ice and snow like I did today, but hay it was sunny no clouds in the sky and 50 plus degrees out side.

Cold start of the V-10 work truck in real time .
Went in to town this morning to get a little fuel for the equipment .
Think I need to get me one of those cap cams like you got Wayne l. Can’t wait to get cranking on my V10 build, seeing you out running that truck gets me fired up to keep building more every time!
85°F ??? Wayne, are you sure your thermometers are working properly?
Yes and I was enjoying it for a while then it dropped down to 50F today and I am about to freeze .
